SACRAMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Confirmation & First Holy Communion
To preserve the sanctity of the Mass, Saint Timothy Catholic School maintains a strict “No Photography” policy during the liturgy.
While this may be understandably disappointing, especially since the reception of Confirmation and First Holy Communion are such a meaningful and anticipated moments for eighth and second grade families, this policy exists to ensure that the focus remains fully on the sacrament itself and the prayerful participation of the candidates and their families.
Sacramental Portrait Options
To help families commemorate these very important milestones, Hank Jiang Photography is pleased to offer special sacrament photo sessions held outside of the liturgy.
These sessions are designed to be:
Friendly and pressure-free!
Focused on the child and their faith
Consistent with the beauty and dignity of the sacrament
By scheduling portraits outside of Mass, families are able to receive meaningful, high-quality images without distracting from the sacredness of the celebration.

To book a full session, please complete the following form. I’ll reach out to you by phone within 48 hours to confirm your details, set a date and time, and discuss how we can make your session special and memorable. Following phone call, I’ll send you an invoice, contract, and minor model release form. Once I receive your completed contract and 50% retainer, you’ll be all set!
Additional Guidance
-
Children should dress either in their First Communion or Confirmation attire (to include the red gown). Please ensure they are well-fed, well-rested, and happy. Nothing spoils a photoshoot faster than a grumpy child!
-
Whether you choose the mini or full session, families are encouraged to bring along sacramentals or meaningful family treasures (e.g. Bibles, rosaries, icons, necklaces, etc.). Please also bring the remaining payment in cash or check to your session.
-
These photo sessions are not just for your child! While the focus is certainly on the young confirmand or communicant, please feel free to include sponsors, siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and anyone else you’d like. If time permits, I will try to get all group combinations.
-
I purposely build in 30-minute buffers between mini sessions. These are meant for me to take a break between families, such as get water, grab a snack, or use the restroom. However, if you realize part way through your mini session that you are loving it and want to keep going, please feel free to let me know and we’ll go for the full hour! Following the session, I’ll invoice you the difference for a full session and you can pay onsite with cash, check, or card before you leave.
(Not applicable for Meadowlark — sorry!)
-
As of now, the availabilities I have through the booking links are what I’m able to offer. If I see that there’s a high demand for mini sessions, I will consider increasing the number of sessions and make the announcement through the school’s Tuesday Tidbits as well as the Saint Timothy School Parents Facebook group.
